RAMMSTEIN Film Video For New Single
June 12, 2004German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN shot a video for their new single, "Mein Teil", on June 2-3 in Berlin, Germany. A fifty-person crew and director Zoran Bihac, who also directed the "Links 2,3,4" video, realized the concept for the video together with the band. Editing of the video is currently underway.
In other news, PET SHOP BOYS have reportedly been "secretly" working on some remixes for "Mein Teil", which is scheduled for release in early August. The PET SHOP BOYS have created a main mix and a 7" mix for "Mein Teil" called "PSB You Are What You Eat Mix" and an electro mix called "PSB There Are No Guitars On This Mix". At the moment, RAMMSTEIN have not yet decided which versions will be included on the release.
As previously reported, the recording sessions for the new RAMMSTEIN album took place in Spain while additional recordings were made in a session with strings and a choir in Berlin. Production duties on the upcoming CD are being handled by Jacob Hellner, who worked with the group on "Mutter".
RAMMSTEIN have released three studio albums thus far — "Herzeleid" (1995),"Sehnsucht" (1997) and "Mutter" (2001).
